Meet Moose
Moose is a rescue from abroad I recently worked with to help with among other things his aggression around food.
- Rescue from Abroad
- Aggression Around Food
At some point in his past he has had to fight for his food and would become panicked if approached whilst eating, resulting in aggression.
My aim with Moose was to firstly help him trust me and then to slow his mind down when eating so he could be more relaxed and also happy to have someone near him whilst he ate.
This was by no means an instant fix, a lot of time and patience was needed to help Moose but well worth it for the end result.
"Azz has been helping our rescue Moose with his food aggression issues. After a few hours at our home Azz knew the issue needed more attention and offered to take Moose for the weekend.
Since his return Moose has been so far a lot more chilled, less reactive and more calm when it’s dinner time. There’s still work to be done and we look forward to keeping up the good work!"
