Your dog has bitten someone, and the police have become involved. What do you do next? Unfortunately dog aggression and bite incidents have become increasingly common in recent years and can sometimes lead to legal proceedings.
I have been providing private legal dog assessments since 2009, working privately with dog owners on the recommendation of solicitors, as well as in conjunction with the police on assessments, reports and court proceedings where required.
Assessments for seized dogs
Depending on the circumstances, assessments can take place either at the owner’s home or at a designated location dictated by the police if the seizure of a dog has been deemed necessary by the police.

I can also assist with assessments involving exempt and banned dog types, including XL Bullies, and work alongside the police and other relevant authorities where required.

Legal Assessment Reports and Court Support
Legal dog assessments are recorded on video and are accompanied by a full written report. If needed, I can also attend court in person in connection with the assessment and report.
